M is for Muse

Welcome to day thirteen of the A-Z Blogging Challenge.

Posting and writing every day during the month of April (except Sundays), the challenge is to write my way through the alphabet.

M is for Muse...

Make the most of your muse, show her no malice or this miracle of make believe may mangle rather than manage a manuscript. She is a mastermind of maneuvers, a mood and morale medium. Some say a mirage.

The mission of every author is to write...in the moment...a montage...even using Morse Code. Create mosaics with moxie. Be meticulous. Avoid minefields and mumbo jumbo.

Your modus operandi is not mine. Nor should it be. Each writer's method is a mysterious, mind boggling, merry-go-round ride in the mist.

Marketing? It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Oh, and remember the medium is the message...Marshall McLuhan said that.

I hope you've enjoyed my 'M' post. As always comments are welcome and encouraged.

Btw, if you do leave a comment your name will be entered in a draw to win e-book copies of both my books, Defending Glory and Frank, Incense and Muriel. The winner will be announced in early May. The more times you comment, the more chances to win!

  8. I hope your muse comes back, too, Katie. When she does, you'd better have a heart-to-heart with her. Remind her that she needs you, as much as you need her. ;-)
